So I am going to choose a character that is close to my age. So I choose a 43 year old male.
Looking up the stats for that.
Adult
Your in your late middle 20’s to middle 40’s. (25-45) You have some skills and abilities but some of your physical body is going down hill. (Boy do I know that one!) You have 75 points to spend. (I do? Well thank you!)
Academic, Accuracy, Action 20 (-5), Brawling 20 (-5), Entertain, Equestrian, Healer, Intuition, Looks 20 (-5), Lore, Melee, Might, Occupation, Perception 20 (-5), Rural, Social, Stamina, Status, Stealth 20 (-5), Streets, Thievery, Wealth, Wilderness, Will (-25 Total)
I decide on an interesting character out of my huge list of "Occupations"
Former Noble-
Once a member of an established noble family now a wandering bum and drunkard possibly dishonored by some scandal.
Skills: Possibly Social, Maybe Status

Oh what a great story to tell. It was he that brought the family down. A foolish shitting drunkard. In his younger years a great carouser and rabble rouser! A gambler! As he got older and began to have pressure from the family to grow up and start campaigns and intrigues Lord Bilious Hogan did not listen. He just keep drinking and drugging more and the women got more trash and young. Most of the other noble maidens his age were not impressed and found him repulsive if not immature but the young and foolish ones found him exciting and roguish. After impregnating at least 30 courtesans maidens of good standing and noble blood and hundreds of lower class maidens Lord Bilious Hogan had to leave the capital city of Kerlynn and travel to the terrible city of Westfort. There he spent his times on the largest and most exquisite manor and estates his family had but as usual caring only for gambling, fucking, drinking and drugging. In one terrible night his world collapsed. During a great drunken orgy a great and many fights broke out. Too many people had shown up at the party. Rival families, gangs, thieves, and such. Bilious Hogan does not remember what happened. It is said that a few hundred of his family showed up, retuning from a biter war campaign and found the house ransacked. They began attack the guest, guards were called, the place caught on fire, someone locked the doors and the gates, a few thousand people died. There was only one that was blamed after it was all over Lord Bilious Hogan. Most of his family dead, his debts mounting, many families looking for "the bastard that corrupted our innocent daughter", his life destroyed our hero fled to the slums know as "The Stink" never to be seen again. He now is an wandering vagabond and tomb raider.
I am going to spend 20 points in Action. I want him to still be quick enough in a fight. I will give him 10 points in Looks to bring him up to a 30 which is 5 points higher than the average 25. I am going to give him a Melee of 45 which means he can attack once and parry twice with no penalty. He is still a talker so I give him 15 points on Social. I am taking away 10 points of Status and putting it in Streets. Last but not least I am putting the last few points in Academic as he did study once in awhile when he was young. He ends up looking like this!
Lord Bilious Hogan
Academic 35, Accuracy, Action 55 (-5), Brawling 20 (-5), Entertain, Equestrian, Healer, Intuition, Looks 30 (-5), Lore, Melee 45, Might, Occupation, Perception 20 (-5), Rural, Social 40, Stamina, Status 15, Stealth 20 (-5), Streets 35, Thievery, Wealth, Wilderness, Will (-25 Total)
HP 25 (Equal to Stamina)
Starting Equipment: Old Ratty Formally Noble Clothing (Basically a dirty white puffy shirt, long pants and high boot, a long dirty fur coat, and a dirty large hat with a dirty feather), Various Rings and Jewelry with Gems missing (sold or stolen) all Worthless Rusted Gemless, Fine Melee Weapon in need of cleaning (45% to hit, attack once and parry twice with no penalty, {1d10 +3 for Might Damage}), Family Seal on ring.
BUT This is only an NPC. IF he were a Player he would start out with MORE Skill Points.
Starting characters get an additional +100 points to spend. More Experienced/Powerful PCs/NPCs will have +200 points for a somewhat experienced, +400 for a veteran of many adventures. A master will have +600 points. An average character is based on 500 points divided 20 times with an average of 25.
SO lets give him "A more Experienced feel" for 200 points! He has been on the streets for YEARS now.
Lord Bilious Hogan
Academic 35, Accuracy 45, Action 65 (-5), Brawling 20 (-5), Entertain, Equestrian, Healer, Intuition 45, Looks 30 (-5), Lore, Melee 65, Might 50, Occupation, Perception 40 (-5), Rural, Social 40, Stamina 45, Status 15, Stealth20 (-5), Streets 65, Thievery 45, Wealth, Wilderness, Will 40 (-25 Total)
HP 45 (Equal to Stamina)
Equipment:Fine black leather clothing, Various Rings and Jewelry worth 500P, Fine Melee Weapon (above this person's station certainly) (65% to hit, attack twice and parry twice with no penalty, {2d10} {+5 for Might Damage rounding off to another D10!}), Family Seal on ring, 1000P of coin.
How much better his masters the streets!
